A few more announcements before we wrap up this week.

Unit Number Changes

There has been an ongoing management and emergency response issue with duplicate addresses, so we’ve worked through the process with the City of Corpus Christi to get it resolved. As of this month they have updated our unit numbers to remove the duplicate address issue. From now on, each unit will have it’s own unique address and unit number (1 – 26). The changes are as follows.

  • 637 Mohawk – Units 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 will remain unchanged.
  • 620 Cheyenne – Units 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 will remain unchanged.
  • 620 Cheyenne – Unit 1 is now Unit 13
  • 620 Cheyenne – Unit 2 is now Unit 14
  • 620 Cheyenne – Unit 3 is now Unit 15
  • 620 Cheyenne – Unit 4 is now Unit 16
  • 620 Cheyenne – Unit 5 is now Unit 17
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 6 is now Unit 18
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 7 is now Unit 19
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 8 is now Unit 20
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 9 is now Unit 21
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 10 is now Unit 22
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 11 is now Unit 23
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 12 is now Unit 24
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 13 is now Unit 25
  • 637 Mohawk – Unit 14 is now Unit 26

We will be updating the unit numbers above the doors and on the mailboxes. If your unit is affected, please start notifying any necessary parties of your change of address. The old addresses on the mailboxes will be co-labelled with old and new unit numbers for at least 90 days.

 

55+ Community

Mohawk Apartments is now designated a 55+ community. Current residents are grandfathered in, regardless of current age, but future applicants will be 55+ in age.

 

Laundry Facility

The lock has been left off the gate that divides the Mohawk and Cheyenne side for now so that residents from the Cheyenne side can access the laundry facility. Please keep us updated as to how this affects any non-resident traffic through the facility. We’re currently collecting bids to repair, replace, and add fencing and gates to better secure the property. We are currently undecided on how to address the middle fence/gate area long term. Onsite Vehicles

Just a reminder that all vehicles must be properly registered and licensed and be in good working order. If your vehicle is not currently up to date, please take steps to address it.
